Gino Mannocci was born in 1960 in Pisa, where he lives.
After carrying out national service in the Folgore Parachute Brigade, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Pisa, with a grade of 110/110, discussing a thesis in Constitutional Law entitled “The manifest groundlessness in the most recent jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court”.
In the first and only examination session held, he passed to qualify as a lawyer and has been enrolled in the Bar Association of Pisa since 5/3/1993. Since 22/6/06 he has been enrolled in the Register of National Appeal Court (Cassation) Lawyers.
He works mainly in the field of civil law (particularly civil liability), business crisis law, within which he has specifically gained expertise in issues relating to the liability of company directors and auditors. He is an expert in the field of commercial law, specializing in contracts and real estate; together with industrial and corporate law.
He is regularly appointed by the Court of Pisa as lawyer to deal with bankruptcy receiverships in numerous civil and insolvency cases, in particular concerning revocatory actions and liability actions against company directors and auditors.
Since 2018 he has been a councillor of Pisa Town Council.
Since 2021 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Toscana Aeroporti s.p.a. (company listed on the Milan stock exchange) and is a member of the company’s Appointments and Remuneration Committee.
He is enrolled with No. 18529 in the Register of Official Representatives authorized by the Office for the registration of trademarks, designs and models of the European Union EUIPO.
He is the holder of an R.C. insurance policy for professional liability stipulated with Compagnia Assicurazioni Generali s.p.a.
He is a member of the Pisa Certosa Lions Club, of which he was President in the year 2004/05 and for many years a member of the board of directors, and is a member of the Cosmopolitan Golf & Country Club, of which he was Vice President of the Board of Directors.
Lorenzo Susini was born in 1976 in Pisa and lives in Montopoli in Val d’Arno (PI).
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Pisa in July 2002 with a thesis in Ecclesiastical Law entitled “Holy See and Israel: two monisms compared. Analysis of the agreements signed between the Holy See and the State of Israel between 1993 and 1997”. In the first and only examination session held, he passed to qualify as a solicitor by taking the exam at the Court of Appeal of Florence and has been enrolled in the Bar Association of Pisa since March 2006.
He mainly works in the field of civil law, insolvency, commercial and employment law, specializing in disputes regarding dismissals, recognition of subordinate employment relationships, recognition of professional qualifications and wage differences, work contracts, accidents and safety at work, mobbing, relationships with agents and family businesses and public sector employment.
He also deals with consultancy and assistance to companies regarding trade union relations, furlough, redundancy procedures and use of social security.
He speaks and writes fluently in English and deals with the international relations of the firm.
He is the holder of an R.C. individual insurance policy for professional liability stipulated with Generali s.p.a.
He has been a member and founding member of the Leo Club of St Miniato (PI).
He has been a member of A.G.E.S.C.I. (Italian Scouts Association) in the Pontedera (PI) group.
Federico Barsotti (born in 1994) graduated in Law from the University of Pisa with a grade of 110 out of 110 cum laude at the age of only 23.
During his university career he proceed with an in-depth study of Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as European Union Law and International Private and Procedural Law. He graduated with a thesis entitled: “Car insurance in private international law of the European Union”.
He obtained the qualification to practice law at the first attempt in November 2020 and currently collaborates with Mannocci & Susini – Avvocati Associati, where he mainly deals with Italian and international contract law and banking law.
He is fluent in English with a wide knowledge of legal language and terminology.
Lorena Bazı is Secretary of Mannocci & Susini – Avvocati Associati. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature with a thesis on legal translation and a Master’s Degree in Literary and Non-Fiction Translation. She has a sound and fluent knowledge of English, French, Portuguese and Albanian.
She has been working for our firm since 2018 and has gained wide-ranging experience of legal issues.
